Housekeeper – Casual & Part Time Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Housekeeper – Casual & Part Time to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Clean blinds/drapes with damp cloth or vacuum;
- Clean and maintain drinking fountains and washrooms;
- Complete housekeeping assignments within the time allotted;
- Follow daily cleaning routines and weekly deep cleaning routine as outlined in work schedules;
- All other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor;
- Clean clothes, linen and apparel as well as all phases of drying, ironing, folding, loading and delivery;
- Follow waste management schedules including recycling and garbage disposal;
- Occasional simple training of temporary workers in basic housekeeping duties;
- Follow all universal precautions, Company policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment as needed while cleaning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the Housekeeping field required;
- Minimum O.S.S.D. or equivalent;
- Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
