Our company is looking for a Solution Architect IPTV to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical leader for IPTV projects;
  • Providing technical coaching & mentoring other colleagues;
  • Document technical solutions into standardized templates and in the internal Knowledge Base system;
  • Day to day administration of the broadcast equipment and Server environment;
  • Manage on-going vendor related technical escalations through to completion;
  • Share knowledge of regular fault solutions within the support team to reduce rework in solving the same problem;
  • Act as escalation point for IPTV related incident and problems;
  • Maintain and develop technical skills/certifications as required to support new and existing technologies and customers offerings;
  • Define and optimize the monitoring structure aimed to detect potential issues related to the IPTV systems.

Requirements:

  • Ability to Install and configure NGIX, DOCKER and VMware ESXi;
  • Openness to share knowledge and best practices with the team;
  • Ability to innovate and think out of the box;
  • Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills;
  • Proactive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently;
  • Ability to vulgarize the concepts of HLS and understand the roles of the m3u8 and ts files;
  • Self-motivation to achieve consistently high-quality results;
  • Knowledge in designing, implementing, optimizing and troubleshooting IPTV solutions;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English);
  • Methodological skills, strong problem-solving abilities;
  • High interest in continuous self-learning and development (new tools, technologies, methodologies);
  • General Video Operations: Any candidate with IPTV experience specifically, HLS distribution is a requirement;
  • Ability to use simplicity in complex projects;
  • At least 5 years’ experience working in a Service Provider environment.
