Senior Solutions Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in planned or unplanned business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients;
- Lead customer engagements/value sprints and provide feedback to Sales and Engineering;
- Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria;
- Collect and/or clarify existing business requirements;
- Support Solution Architect for Digital and GR&S business areas;
- Estimate cost, and prepare business cases for IT solutions, considering infrastructure, licenses, development and support;
- Continue to improve our internal development and design techniques, and maintain our documentation up to date;
- Develop and maintain a model of BRP’s current and future Application Architecture in the EA tool;
- Assess the business requirements for an initiative or a problem;
- Design content for customer success workshops, trainings and leading practice sessions;
- Lead the development of projects executed by our internal Dev team, and asses the development executed by Vendor’s teams;
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand;
- Supervise and support developers in the context of projects;
- Support the project team during the specifications and design phase;
- Continue to grow personal skills in alignment with the Company and team Strategy.
Requirements:
- Must-have: 8 + years acting in a Solutions Architect role;
- Hands-on experience implementing CRM, mobile applications, IoT, Web sites (contents and forms) and marketing automation tools;
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude;
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills – demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills ability to develop solution architecture designs;
- Experience of developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA);
- Minimum of ten years of experience in IT, with at least five years in information system design;
- Bilingual – French and English;
- Ideally, formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF with Archimate) or formal qualifications in technology;
- Strategic business acumen and understanding of organisation strategy and ability to design information systems to deliver that strategy;
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF with Archimate or the equivalent;
- Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organisational benefits;
- Working knowledge of systems like mobile application and IoT;
- Hands-on expertise in UX management to address customer’s unique needs around delivering flawless experience across Web, Mobile, IoT and 5G;
- Proficiency in at least 1 of the following: (Java, Javascript, Python, nodeJS, C++);
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
