Our company is looking for a Reliability Engineer, Processing to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion the maintenance reliability program at site;
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the maintenance department by performing other technical functions as assigned; and;
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures;
  • Work in accordance with applicable government regulations and Teck standards;
  • Create reports and work orders according to findings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in processing plant operations is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering or a related discipline;
  • Strong focus on safety and personal responsibility; and;
  • Non-destructive testing methods experience is an asset;
  • Must be self-motivated and possess a positive and flexible attitude;
  • 5–10 years of experience as a reliability engineer;
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite®: Word, Outlook, and Excel;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective interpersonal and problem solving abilities;
  • Strong sense of leadership and team consensus building;
  • Eligible for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
