Devops Engineer/Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Devops Engineer/Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate on a cross-functional team to solve challenging development problems;
- Complete unit testing, build scripts and CI/CD scripts as required;
- Strong DevOps background and professional experience applying DevOps and CI/CD concepts;
- Assume a hands-on role for testing and debugging of related systems and all interfaces between software components;
- Experience leading technical teams to solve business challenges;
- Strong ability to conceptualize and implement end-to-end development pipeline;
- Great scripting ability and experience in build, test, configuration and deployment in complex environments;
- Develop new software features and capabilities as required;
- Strong systems administration background across a variety of environments, including Linux, Windows, and embedded;

Requirements:
- Strong background with C/C ++ and embedded systems development;
- Ability to independently manage time to meet project deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Minimum 5 years of related industry experience;
- Self-motivated and driven to meet long term goals;
- Expert-level understand of Git and related concepts;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience;
- Familiarity with and willingness to use agile development concepts.
