Investment Accountant Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Investment Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Research, recommend and apply changes in the Funds’ accounting policies;
- Perform quarterly reconciliations of all Fund balances;
- Prepare and enter journal entries and maintain the general ledger for the Funds;
- Liaise with offshore 3rd party Fund administrators (Cayman Islands, Barbados and Luxembourg) to consolidate accounting information;
- Liaise with the external auditors.
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) preferred;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with a high level of aptitude for a wide range of computer applications;
- At least 2 years Fund Accounting and/or Private Equity experience;
- Knowledge of accounting principles and reporting under US GAAP;
- An undergraduate degree in finance or accounting.
