Our company is looking for a Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing payroll and related filings;
  • Perform general duties as assigned;
  • Accept and process pre-authorized staff expense forms; distribute reimbursement checks as necessary;
  • Corresponding with drivers;
  • Work closely with the external audit team ensuring all necessary critical information is available to them;
  • Processing of fuel downloads;
  • Driver payroll processing;
  • Participate in inventory counts, reconciliation process and inventory analysis;
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and a system of controls over accounting transactions;
  • You assist with maintenance of the Concur expense platform;
  • Develop and formulate monthly and year-end work papers for key balance sheet and income statement accounts;
  • Participate in special projects as available;
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable process and Accounts Payable for check processing;
  • Assistance with the preparation of monthly financial statements and analysis;
  • You prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting with 2-3 years’ experience;
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in accounting roles;
  • Energetic personality and the ability to multitask;
  • You are highly proicient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools;
  • 3+ years’ experience with payroll processing;
  • Graduate from a University program with a Bachelors’ degree;
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it;
  • You have exceptional attention to detail;
  • You can balance autonomy and collaboration;
  • Analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills;
