Mechanical Drafter (Solidworks) Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mechanical Drafter (Solidworks) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Drawings for manufacturing (sheet metal and machined parts), assembly and electrical (schematics and harnesses);
- Support the manufacturing, engineering, and documentation teams;
- Analysis of drawings, specifications, and requirements for both internal and external customers;
- Participate in continuous improvement activities;
- Find technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects.
Requirements:
- DEC/BAC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience on Solidworks for 2D and 3D design;
- Bilingual: French is a must and English is a strong asset;
- Experience with manufacturing processes (full cycle), assembly drawings, machining parts.
