Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or clients.
- Ensure that drawings are accurate, complete, and comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to determine project requirements and provide input on design and functionality.
- Revise and update drawings as necessary to reflect changes in specifications or design requirements.
- Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create and modify drawings, as well as to produce 3D models and renderings.
- Organize and maintain drawings and project files in an organized and accessible manner.
- Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, software and technology advancements, and other relevant developments to improve job performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineers and architects
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to drafting
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field preferred
