Senior System Algorithm Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior System Algorithm Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Specify architectures and functional requirements to drive product development;
- Develop system models to evaluate/recommend signal and data processing algorithms for product implementation;
- Generate technical design collateral for customers, vendors, and other stakeholders;
- Provide technical design/verification support to the implementation team and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Understanding of floating and fixed-point numerical simulation models;
- General DSP and communications knowledge (ideally in a wireless domain);
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Familiarity with source control and shell (or other) scripting;
- Experience delivering production-quality system simulation models;
- Good understanding of production software design/practices;
- Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python DSP design (wireless domain preferred).
