The Mandate

Heavy industrial assets require absolute structural integrity. We are mobilizing elite, ticketed Ironworkers to lead the erection, alignment, and bolt-up of complex structural steel framing and heavy civil infrastructure. You will execute critical crane signaling, advanced rigging, and high-altitude operations under strict safety and performance mandates. This role requires professionals who bring precision to large-scale capital projects and demand an institutional standard of site accountability.

Execution Profile (Responsibilities)

• Structural Erection & Alignment: Lead the safe and precise assembly, hoisting, and alignment of heavy structural steel, columns, and beams for industrial facilities and capital builds.
• Advanced Rigging & Hoisting: Calculate complex load dynamics, select appropriate rigging gear, and execute secure rigging for critical, high-tonnage crane lifts.
• Blueprint & Schematic Execution: Read, interpret, and execute highly technical structural blueprints, schematic drawings, and engineered lift plans with zero margin for error.
• Bolt-up & Reinforcement: Perform high-torque bolting, tack welding, and structural modifications to ensure the absolute integrity of the completed framework.
• Site Coordination: Work seamlessly with multi-disciplinary trades, CWB welders, and heavy equipment operators to maintain the critical path during tight turnaround windows.
• Zero-Compromise Safety: Enforce Ironclad’s institutional safety protocols, including strict adherence to 100% tie-off fall protection, confined space entry, and critical lift safety parameters.

Technical & Certification Requirements

• Valid Red Seal Certification as a Structural Ironworker.
• Proven, documented experience executing structural scopes on heavy industrial sites, facility turnarounds, or large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in crane signaling (both hand and radio) and complex rigging procedures.
• Valid safety tickets: Fall Protection/Working at Heights, CSTS, WHMIS, Aerial Work Platform (AWP), and standard First Aid.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work at extreme heights and in adverse weather conditions.
