Job Description

A well-established company in the distribution industry is looking for an experienced Accounting & Operations Coordinator to join its team. This is a hands-on role combining accounting, inventory, purchasing, and operational support.

Schedule: 8AM - 5 PM

Monday to Friday

Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions and records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Handle invoicing, payments, deposits, and reconciliations
Support month-end closing and journal entries
Reconcile inventory, purchases, deliveries, and supplier invoices
Investigate pricing, billing, freight, and inventory discrepancies
Assist with purchasing and cash management activities
Support payroll entries and related financial records
Prepare Excel reports for inventory, aging, margins, and variances
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve accounting and operational issues

Requirements

5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Accounting, Finance, Business education or equivalent experience
Strong full-cycle bookkeeping and month-end knowledge
Sage 300 experience
Advanced Excel skills , including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
Inventory, distribution, logistics, or similar industry experience is an asset
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
