Drive innovation in electrical safety at e-STORAGE’s hybrid location in Kitchener, ON. Focus on medium-voltage systems and compliance to enhance project execution.
As the Electrical Safety & Commissioning Manager for the Americas, you'll lead initiatives for safe operations and compliance in utility-scale battery energy storage projects. This role emphasizes collaboration with commissioning and technical teams to uphold safety standards across various regions. You will also work on establishing electrical safety rules, switching procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent operations.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage medium-voltage switching and isolation procedures - Ensure project commissioning complies with electrical standards - Create and standardize safety documentation and practices - Provide technical guidance during project execution - Assess electrical risks and implement corrective measures
Requirements: - Proven experience with medium-voltage electrical systems - Competency in MV switching and grounding procedures - Familiarity with safety codes like CSA and NEC - Background in electrical commissioning and field services - Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or technology
