As the AI Sales Specialist Manager for Canada, you'll lead a team that drives pipeline development , manages business cycles from lead generation through to customer onboarding, and consistently meets and exceeds sales targets. You'll own the go-to-market strategy for your territory, with a focus on revenue growth, net new customer acquisition, customer expansion, and customer referenceability.

You'll be expected to inspire executives by identifying AI use cases for Google Cloud products, maintain accurate forecasting in Salesforce, and represent your business in town halls and leadership meetings. Responsibilities

This role blends strategic sales leadership with direct customer engagement at the executive level. You'll be responsible for shaping how Google Cloud's AI portfolio lands in the Canadian market, while simultaneously developing the skills and performance of your team. Here's what the day-to-day looks like:

• Lead and support your team to drive pipeline, manage business cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding, and meet and exceed sales goals
• Partner cross-functionally with Field Sales, Customer Engineering, Solution Architecture, and Product teams to understand customers, shape messaging, and deliver an excellent prospect and customer experience
• Develop and own the go-to-market plan to scale business across key areas: revenue, net new customer growth, customer expansion and conservation, and customer referenceability
• Build and maintain CXO-level relationships with top customers, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying AI use cases for Google Cloud products and solutions
• Inspire executives by demonstrating opportunities for digital transformation through Google Cloud's AI offerings
• Represent the business in forecasts, town halls, and leadership meetings; report on forecasts and business performance using Salesforce and other tools
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture — leading with empathy and identifying innovative ways to multiply the team's overall impact

Requirements / Skills

Google is looking for a seasoned sales leader with deep experience in enterprise software, cloud, or AI — someone who can operate confidently at the executive level while also developing the people around them. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in quota-carrying sales leadership and a genuine understanding of how AI technology can solve real business problems.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years of experience in a sales role within the enterprise software, cloud, or AI space
• Leadership experience within a quota-carrying team — including people management, team lead, mentorship, or coaching responsibilities
• Experience identifying AI use cases to solve customer challenges or selling AI technology to enterprise clients
• People and business management experience , with a demonstrated ability to support career development and drive business growth (preferred)
• Experience planning go-to-market strategies and organizing sales programs within a defined territory (preferred)
• Analytical ability to assess sales performance data and market trends, and use those insights to drive direction (preferred)
• Experience with Google Cloud and relevant AI offerings, including familiarity with selling an AI technology stack (preferred)
• Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills , along with program management capability (preferred)
