Allied Universal is seeking Security Professional Gatehouse (Casual) in Woodbridge, ON

Job Title: Security Professional Gatehouse (Casual)
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Position Type: Casual
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Sunday to Saturday | Various Shift | Various Time

We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Security Professional Gatehouse (Casual)to support operations at a large-scale commercial and industrial site in Woodbridge, Ontario .

This position operates within a high-security, 24/7 environment and plays a critical role in maintaining the safety of personnel, protecting property, and Enforcing Access Control Procedures . The successful candidate will be responsible for Gatehouse Operations monitoring activity across multiple fixed posts and ensuring all security policies and procedures are consistently followed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Visibility & Coverage: Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Access Control: Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Communication: Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Emergency Response: Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• General Security Duties: Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• 1-2 years of experience working as a S ecurity Professional
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
