We are Reliable Electric, a custom residential and commercial electrical contractor focused on building the best team of Apprentice and Journeymen Electricians. We have been in business for 30+ years with a strong growth trend over the last 5 years. Our specialties are high-end custom homes, large commercial jobs, multi-family residential, large EV charger projects on the North Shore and Vancouver that we can take pride in. We are currently looking for commercial Red Seal Electrical Foreperson that can immediately join us in a role leading commercial, residential and EV projects

As an Electrical Foreperson, you will be accountable for the on-site project performance, but have support of a Project Manager assigned to the project as well. You must be able to effectively plan materials and order materials for a week out at a time, understand and follow our scope (getting changes approved by the Project Manager prior to proceeding), effectively delegate to electricians to get all on site duties completed, coordinate with other trades and the client and professionally represent Reliable. A vehicle option is possible in this position and can be discussed with the hiring manager, this position will also still require the applicant to still be hands on the tools as well in some cases.

About You:

• 
  Minimum 3 years Canadian Electrical Experience leading sites as an Electrical Foreperson or Site Supervisor in custom homes, commercial or both.


• Red Seal Electrician. REQUIRED
  


• The suitable candidate must have done their time on the tools, this is not a position suited to electrical or electronics engineering degree holders who do not have real world hands on experience as an electrician, doing electricians work.


• Must hold full and clean driving license.


• Ability to manage time by effectively prioritizing tasks for yourself and others.


• Ability read, interpret and execute wiring off of RCPs, elevations and power plans (we do our own designs on projects).


• Willing to take ownership of your work, provide feedback on our designs and estimates and a desire to be actively engaged in improving our growing company.


• Ability to do more than just electrical and follow some of our unique processes including material returns, 1-on-1s with your Project Manager, tool tracking, training tracking and providing feedback.

Compensation: $40.00 - $53.00 per hour
