We are looking for an entrepreneurial and deeply experienced Cybersecurity Marketing Professional to take ownership of our specialized Cyber and Information Security Portfolio.
In this dual leadership capacity, you will serve as the strategic architect translating advanced technical concepts into viable, high-demand educational programs for both corporate and public sector professionals. The ideal candidate possesses an uncommon professional background that combines deep technical credibility in information security with high-level institutional marketing and business development capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Vision & Curricular Leadership
- Drive the multi-year training roadmap, focusing heavily on executing the 2025–2027 strategic development plan.
- Spearhead the creation and commercial rollout of forward-looking curriculum modules, targeting emerging risk vectors such as applied AI vulnerabilities, insider threats, narrative manipulation, and misinformation risk.
- Oversee the vetting, hiring, and continuous evaluation of subject matter experts and instructors to guarantee premier instructional delivery across all specialized portfolios.
2. Operationalizing Technical Platforms & Simulations
- Supervise the licensing, day-to-day operations, and strategic scaling of proprietary analytical and threat-detection software tools.
- Expand the commercial reach of immersive "Cyber Range" crisis simulations, delivering live-action tabletop scenarios for municipal, provincial, federal, and private-sector clients.
- Manage specialized client pilots and advisory engagements to demonstrate how organizations can practically implement risk management frameworks and AI tools into their operations.
3. Ecosystem Alignment & Enterprise Partnerships
- Cultivate deep relationships with major technology partners to embed state-of-the-art simulation tools and push the adoption of specialized risk-gap methodologies.
- Serve as an organizational bridge by collaborating with university computer science and engineering faculties to align non-credit professional programs with broader academic initiatives.
- Lend expertise to internal working groups and cross-departmental initiatives aimed at solidifying the institution's position as a regional hub for AI and cyber resilience.
4. Growth, Marketing, & Brand Advocacy
- Partner with internal marketing teams to position live-simulation exercises and proprietary analytical platforms as core competitive advantages.
- Act as the primary brand evangelist through keynote presentations, executive briefings, and original thought leadership to build organizational authority in risk intelligence.
- Analyze market trends and changing workforce demands to uncover new audience segments, build corporate relationships, and drive revenue growth in tandem with executive leadership.
Mandatory Evaluation Criteria
- Cybersecurity Tenure: At least 15 years of progressive, hands-on experience working directly within the information security sector.
- Public Sector Fluency: Comprehensive understanding of the operational structures, internal priorities, and decision-making mechanisms across all three tiers of Canadian government (federal, provincial, and municipal).

- Higher Education Insight: Practical familiarity managing programs or consulting within the distinct operational culture and governance models of Canadian universities.
- Domain-Specific Marketing: A proven track record of designing and executing strategic marketing plans tailored specifically to the cybersecurity or high-tech business landscape.
- Event Management & Recruitment: Success directing large-scale marketing campaigns and corporate networking events aimed at driving professional enrollment and brand awareness.
- Financial Oversight: The business acumen required to perform rigorous cost-benefit analyses and financial viability modeling for technical educational portfolios.
