Director of Finance - Healthcare Sector (Toronto)

This strategic role involves oversight of financial accounting processes and collaboration with senior stakeholders. You will report to the Vice President, Controller, overseeing financial management in a multi-entity framework. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA and significant experience, including leading a team and enhancing reporting accuracy. Engage closely with cross‑functional departments to improve processes and ensure compliance in a rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own preparation and accuracy of financial reporting cycles
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing finance team
- Review and prepare financial statements for audits
- Collaborate with finance departments for timely closes
- Implement control procedures for accurate reporting
Requirements
- 8+ years of finance experience, 3+ years in leadership
- CPA with a related Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of ASPE/IFRS and internal controls
- Critical thinker focused on outcomes and improvements
- Preferred experience in NetSuite and SmartViewLeverage
