Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of projects within an OPS I&IT environment. The candidate will assist with project schedules, status reporting, stakeholder coordination, risk tracking, and project documentation. The role requires an understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to support enterprise initiatives involving Oracle HCM/ERP, Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, and PeopleTools 8.61.09 where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverable tracking documents.

• Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and track action items.

• Support project managers in monitoring project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Maintain project documentation, status reports, risk registers, issue logs, and decision records.

• Assist with identifying project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential schedule impacts.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and subject matter experts.

• Support stakeholder communication and ensure project updates are distributed in a timely manner.

• Assist in tracking project budgets, resource allocation, and expenditure against approved plans.

• Support requirements gathering and project planning for enterprise application initiatives.

• Help coordinate activities related to Oracle HCM/ERP and Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.

• Assist with tracking technical dependencies involving PeopleTools 8.61.09 where relevant.

• Follow applicable OPS I&IT project management methodologies, governance processes, and reporting requirements.

• Support change management, implementation planning, testing coordination, and project closure activities.

• Identify opportunities to improve project coordination, documentation, and reporting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management support, or a related discipline.

• Foundational understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and documentation.

• Basic knowledge of risk management, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.

• Willingness to learn OPS I&IT project management practices and governance requirements.

• Exposure to enterprise application projects, including Oracle HCM/ERP or PeopleSoft, is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic projects, internships, or practical experience supporting project delivery.

• Familiarity with structured project management approaches, including Agile and waterfall methodologies.

• Exposure to enterprise system implementation, business transformation, or IT modernization initiatives.
