Assistant Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in overseeing daily operations and staff performance.
• Train and mentor new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in the hiring process and onboarding of new team members.
• Maintain organized records related to payroll, inventory, and sales activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any operational issues.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote products or services effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in cashiering and cash handling is essential.
• Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A background in sales or marketing is advantageous but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
