Family Physician For Private Practice Newmarket

Join a dedicated health care team as a Family Physician, offering personalized care in a private practice setting. Your medical expertise will be vital for patient wellness. The ideal candidate has a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
In this role, you will examine patients, order diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and support patients in developing healthier lifestyles. Working in office, you will also coordinate primary patient care and provide emergency interventions as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient examinations to assess health
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribe medications and treatments effectively
- Vaccinate patients against preventable diseases
- Provide counselling support for health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
- Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Previous experience is an asset
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Valid provincial or territorial licensure
- In office availability required for patient care
