Senior care

I am in need of a compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated individual to provide senior care for my mother. This is a part-time role with flexible work hours that has to be scheduled for three days a week, specifically on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings. This could be immediately kickstarted, given the pressing need. Primarily, some of the responsibilities would include gentle range of motion exercises and assisted walking around the block to maintain her physical strength. Assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing is also required. Additionally, you shall be expected to prepare meals, plan visits, and sometimes accompany her to appointments or outings to visit friends and family. Ensuring my mother's home remains clean and comfortable is a key consideration, hence light housekeeping chores such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, and cleaning the bathroom shall be a part of your role. Grocery shopping and running errands fall into your purview of duties. For the same reason, possession of a driver’s license is a requirement for this role. You must have your own car to use for these tasks and other possible visits or trips. The incoming candidate should have experience or be willing to work with conditions such as arthritis. A background in the medical field or a strong knowledge of medications would be beneficial as the role involves medication prep - all of which are blister packed for simplicity. The desire is to hire someone who can provide live-out senior care, rendering their services for less than 20 hours a week. In essence, what I’m in search of is really a dependable person who can help my mother to live her life comfortably.
