Social Media Specialist

Job Responsibility:

Executive Hotels & Resorts is currently looking for a Social Media Specialist. As a successful candidate, you will work directly with the General Managers and Operations to develop and implement strategies to enhance the branding of Executive's social media channels.

What will you do?

As the lead social media specialist, you'll use your creativity, design thinking, and video editing skills to translate brand messages into effective social content that is informative, compelling, entertaining, and customer-centric.

You'll take our brand marketing strategy and design channel-specific action plans for social with a focus on multi-media content and growth on our priority channels of TikTok, Facebook, IG and YouTube.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Management & Content Creation

• Manage and publish organic content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Create high-quality content (photo, video, reels, stories) with a consistent brand voice
• Plan and execute content shoots in collaboration with internal teams and partners
• Schedule and manage a content calendar across all brands, aligned with marketing initiatives
• Engage with online communities, responding to DMs and comments promptly
• Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver visually stunning and on-brand assets

Influencer & Community Engagement

• Lead influencer outreach, vetting, negotiations, and content coordination
• Handle contracts, usage rights, pre-stay communication, and post-stay content approvals
• Monitor and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics
• Incorporate giveaways, collaborations, and cross-promotions into social strategy

Email Marketing

• Own automated email sequences such as welcome flows, re-engagement campaigns, and past-guest win-backs
• Design and deploy weekly newsletters and promotions using platforms like Mailchimp
• Maintain mobile-optimized, visually compelling templates with strong CTAs
• Analyze and report on list engagement, traffic, and ROI Strategy, Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze content performance, influencer metrics, and email analytics to inform strategy
• Provide qualitative and quantitative reporting on brand awareness and campaign success
• Regularly present insights and recommend optimizations for ongoing improvements
• Stay ahead of trends and innovate based on platform updates and consumer behavior

What We're Looking For

• Experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital communications
• Proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later/Hootsuite, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp
• Self-starter with excellent organization and time management abilities
• Strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns
• Passionate about hospitality and connecting with guests both digitally and in person
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Bonus If You Have

• Experience in the hospitality, travel, or food & beverage industries
• Knowledge of paid social strategy and campaign management
• Basic video editing or content production experience

Qualifications and Skills:

· Embrace a growth mindset and adapt well to rapidly changing environments that can often be outside of your control

· Previous experience in hotel marketing preferred

· Post secondary education digital marketing preferred

· 2+ years of relevant professional experience in the area of social media

· Clear and effective communicator

· Excellent attention to details

· Photography & video skills using smartphones
