Position Overview
Boccaccio Ristorante is seeking an experienced and professional Part-Time Server to join our team.
This role requires a strong understanding of hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a consistent and elevated dining experience. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of Italian cuisine and can confidently guide guests through the menu while maintaining efficiency during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, professional, and knowledgeable table service
- Present menu items with confidence, including Italian dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with the kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Ensure proper timing and flow of service
- Support team members during busy service periods
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally
- Uphold the standards and reputation of Boccaccio Ristorante
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years serving experience in a restaurant environment
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine is required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Smart Serve certification required
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
