Join MNP's innovative Legal and Risk Management team as an Experienced Litigation Lawyer, where your expertise will influence operations nationwide. You'll work on complex legal issues and shape our compliance strategies.
As Legal Counsel specializing in Litigation, you will manage cases from initial strategy assessment to resolution. This role demands meticulous drafting of legal documents and clear communication with various leaders and stakeholders. You will also cultivate relationships with external counsel to minimize litigation impact on the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of litigation for the firm
• Advise MNP leaders on legal implications and strategies
• Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
• Identify and analyze legal issues, providing practical insights
• Collaborate with external counsel for effective case management
Requirements:
• Minimum five (5) years of litigation experience post-call
• In-house legal experience is an asset
• Tax and accounting knowledge preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate in French viewed as a plus
