Product Design Specialist - Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Technology. Minimum 3 years of prior technical experience with Low Voltage Power Distribution Products, with a minimum of two (2) years in a Manufacturing or Design Engineering capacity. Highly proficient user of Autodesk Inventor or equivalent 3D Modelling software Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. University degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics. Technical experience working with switchboards/switchgear and reading electrical schematics. Familiar with common testing requirements for Low-Voltage Power Distribution Equipment (short circuit, thermal, seismic, etc), and have a proven ability to design-for-manufacturing in an Engineered-to-Order environment. Experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code, and applicable CSA & UL Standards. Training and Experience with Lean and Six Sigma Tools; LSS Green or Black belt.
