Business Partner - FP&A

About Our Client
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner for a 4-month contract to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving financial performance through robust FP&A support and P&L ownership.

About the Opportunity

• Partner with business unit leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process for assigned P&L areas
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions and scenario planning
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs and flag risks and opportunities against budget/forecast
• Support month-end close, including accruals, cost allocations, and commentary
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting tools and processes (Excel, SAP, Vena or equivalent)

About You

• 3–6 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in FP&A or management accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (Vena, Anaplan, Adaptive) an asset
• CPA designation (or in progress) preferred
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
• Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
