Teldio is a small, fast-growing tech company in Ottawa, which is part of the Wesley Clover portfolio. We specialize in helping customers integrate and automate enterprise systems and equipment using simple, no-code workflows and provide solutions for indoor and outdoor location tracking. We built D3M out of a need for a holistic tool for managing our deployments that provides both high-level visuals and in-depth details about individual hardware, software, and connections involved in a Teldio solution.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer with a passion for product and an ability to interact effectively with customers. The ideal candidate has experience with complex javascript frontends, real-time collaboration, diagramming, sales quotation, and/or rich text editing. This role requires a balance of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and lead discussions with end customers about desired features.

Responsibilities:

• Mature System Modernization: Identify opportunities for refactoring and modernizing to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
• Feature Development: Capable of taking substantial features from concept to shipping as the sole programmer.
• Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues for our customers.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code changes, system architecture, and development processes.
• Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to established standards.
• Best Practices: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, integrating them into our development processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Full-Stack development.
  • Proven experience working with and modernizing mature codebases.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with SQL and database design.
  • Exhibits excellence with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Our headquarters are located in the Kanata North Technology Park. We currently work from the office Tuesday to Thursday (Ottawa, Canada) and from home otherwise.
