Expected Start Date: September 21, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Weyburn Community Health Services Building City/Town: Weyburn Department: Community Response Teams Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: January 10, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 112 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Addictions Counsellor - Diploma $29.584 to $36.176 Travel Required: Yes Job : As a member of the interdisciplinary team, and under the general direction of the program area manager, as applicable, is responsible for the day to day development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of the Mental Health and Addictions Services programs. The primary goal of this position is to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery and personal development programs. Clinical duties are supervised by the program area manager, as applicable. Responsibilities include providing information programming, participation in drug strategy initiatives, individual and group counseling and harm reduction program implementation and documentation within a dynamic and nontraditional team milieu. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Six (6) months clinical experience in the specific department/area/program
