Join Dialpad's Tel Core team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will mentor peers and influence the roadmap for our media engine. You’ll develop and optimize backend services, ensuring a seamless audio experience for users. Your role will bridge product vision and technical execution, contributing to our innovative telephony stack.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and modernize real-time services on Telephony Engines
• Build low-latency media pipelines for optimal voice and video
• Investigate complex production issues using logs and tools
• Run tests to validate scalability and resilience
• Collaborate on call flows and integrations across teams
Requirements:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with SIP, WebRTC, RTP/RTCP
• Strong troubleshooting skills in real-time media quality
