MRG Live is seeking a Creative Content Intern to join our team! In this role, you'll capture the energy of MRG Live events through concert photography, assist in shooting and editing engaging fan videos, and create compelling content to amplify our brand. You'll support our marketing efforts with everything from social media management and email campaigns to brainstorming and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are skilled in photography and video editing, up-to-date on social media trends, and passionate about live events.
ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM The MRG Group Internship Program is designed to provide you with practical skills, valuable experiences, and exposure to real-world scenarios in the Experience industry.
The program is structured to ensure that 80% of your time is dedicated to performing activities specific to their role, while the remaining 20% is allocated to job shadowing, skill development, and team projects across various businesses within the MRG Group.

The MRG Group is a leader in experience creation. In operation since 2008, The MRG Group has grown to become Canada's largest independent entertainment company, and through its ownership of 10 hospitality properties and 6 venues across Canada, the business is passionate about providing positive shareable experiences for its guests, 500+ employees, and partners.
In addition, The MRG Group owns and operates an events business, travel company, digital publication, and ticketing service Admit One. In 2021, the business expanded its presence into the US, signing its first venue deals with properties in New York and California later that year.
Key Responsibilities
- Concert Photography: Attend MRG Live events to capture high-quality photos that showcase the atmosphere, energy, and audience experience.
- Video Editing: Assist in shooting and editing fan testimonial videos and event recap footage, ensuring all content aligns with the brand's tone and aesthetic.
- Content Creation: Generate compelling written and visual content including blog posts, graphics, and videos to support marketing initiatives and engage our audience.
- Social Media Management: Assist in writing and scheduling show announcements across various MRG Group venue social accounts.
- Email Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the creation, scheduling, and analysis of email campaigns to promote events and special offers, ensuring optimal audience engagement and conversion rates.
- Brainstorming: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new and creative ideas for event promotions, fan engagement, and digital content.
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks such as maintaining marketing databases, organizing files, and coordinating meetings to ensure smooth operation of the marketing department.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong foundation in photography and videography techniques
- Proficient in photography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Knowledge of current social media trends, platforms and creatives
- Ability to handle multiple projects at any one time and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events
