Drug Safety Associate

Cencora seeks a Drug Safety Associate to support pharmacovigilance operations for patient and provider support services in Canada. The role involves receiving, documenting, and processing adverse event reports and product quality complaints while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal protocols.
Responsibilities
- Receive, scan, and document clinical information according to SOPs and applicable legislation
- Review source documents and triage adverse events and product complaints per client requirements
- Enter adverse event and quality complaint data into program-specific databases
- Perform quality checks on adverse event reports as directed by work instructions
- Screen medical and scientific literature for safety information and prepare reconciliation reports
Requirements
- College-level education minimum; life sciences diploma or degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience in medical information, clinical research, drug safety, or related pharmacy field
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines from Health Canada, FDA, EMEA, and ICH
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills with ability to multitask
- Effective written and oral communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet connectivity for remote work
- Bilingual English/French capability is an asset
