- Accompagner les patients lors d'activités récréatives extérieures
- Aider au nettoyage, à la stérilisation, à la mise en place et à l'assemblage d'équipement médical
- Effectuer d'autres tâches liées aux soins et au confort des patients
- Effectuer d'autres tâches liées aux soins personnels
- Mesurer la tension artérielle des patients, prendre leur température et leur pouls
- Servir les plateaux de nourriture et nourrir les patients
- Peser, lever, retourner, ou positionner les patients
- Faire les lits et veiller à ce que la chambre des patients soit propre
- Superviser les séries d'exercices effectués par les patients
- Tenir à jour l'inventaire des fournitures
- Laver, habiller les patients et faire leur toilette
- Transporter les patients d'un établissement de soins à un autre
- Conduire les patients en fauteuil roulant ou en civière
- Répondre aux signaux d'appel pour déterminer les besoins des patients
- En cas d'urgence, administrer les premiers soins

- Offre des opportunités de mentorat, de coaching et/ou de réseautage aux jeunes
- Offre au personnel des formations de sensibilisation afin de créer un environnement de travail accueillant pour les vétérans
- Offre au personnel des formations sur les compétences culturelles et/ou des formations de sensibilisation afin de créer un environnement de travail accueillant pour les travailleurs Autochtones
- Applique des politiques d'embauche qui découragent la discrimination fondée sur l'âge
- Offre des options de retraite progressive qui permettent aux travailleurs âgés de réduire progressivement leur charge de travail (par exemple : des heures de travail flexibles ou réduites, emploi à temps partiel, travail par projet ou saisonnier, etc.)
