Undergraduate Co-op Student - Business Analyst

Amgen seeks an undergraduate co-op student for an 8-month business analyst role at its Burnaby research facility. The position focuses on data cleaning, analysis, and dashboard development to support operational decision-making across research and business functions.
Responsibilities
- Clean, organize, validate, and transform operational datasets for analysis
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and actionable insights
- Create clear visualizations and data outputs addressing business questions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and operational tracking tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's degree program with minimum 3.0 GPA
- Completed at least one year of college or university study prior to start
- 18 years or older; must not be employed when co-op begins
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and interest in data visualization tools
- Preferred: degree in Commerce, Business Analytics, or related discipline
- Preferred: Python or similar data analysis tool experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail skills
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 CAD annual base salary
