About the role

We are looking for an Odoo Techno-Functional Specialist to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing management of Odoo across the organization. Working closely with an external Odoo implementation partner and internal stakeholders, this role will act as the internal Odoo subject matter expert and system owner.

The successful candidate will translate business requirements into Odoo solutions, coordinate and accelerate implementations, configure and test modules, support integrations between Odoo applications and other systems, and ensure the platform continues to meet evolving business needs after implementation.

Responsibilities :

• Act as the internal subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Odoo.

• Work closely with the external Odoo implementation partner to coordinate implementation activities, resolve blockers, and ensure agreed requirements are delivered effectively.

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo configurations, workflows, and functional specifications.

• Configure and maintain Odoo modules and workflows in line with business requirements.

• Support the implementation and integration of new Odoo modules with existing Odoo modules and other company systems.

• Assess whether requirements can be addressed through standard Odoo functionality, configuration, integration, or custom development.

• Define and coordinate requirements for customizations, APIs, integrations, and data migrations together with the external partner and relevant technical teams.

• Perform functional and integration testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before changes are deployed.

• Troubleshoot Odoo issues and coordinate resolution with the external partner where required.

• Maintain relevant system, process, and integration documentation and provide guidance to Odoo users.

• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve business processes through Odoo.

• Support system upgrades, new module implementations, and the ongoing Odoo improvement roadmap.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Odoo ERP environments.

• Strong functional knowledge of Odoo and experience working across multiple Odoo modules.

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into ERP configurations, workflows, and functional specifications.

• Experience integrating Odoo modules with each other and integrating Odoo with third-party systems.

• Good understanding of APIs, system integrations, data mapping, and data migration concepts.

• Ability to understand Odoo's technical architecture and work effectively with Odoo developers and implementation partners.

• Experience with testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes.

• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Working knowledge of Python, XML, PostgreSQL, or the Odoo framework.

• Experience with Odoo APIs, Odoo.sh, or custom Odoo integrations.

• Experience with Odoo Accounting, Expenses, Projects, Timesheets, Employees/HR, or related operational modules.

• Previous experience working with an external Odoo implementation partner.

• Odoo certification or relevant ERP certification.
