Business Communication Teaching Assistant
University of Ottawa
Teach Business Communication Skills at Main Campus through seminars, presentation feedback, and written assignment grading in English. This in-person assignment runs during winter semester.
The University of Ottawa seeks Teaching Assistants for ADM2381 within the Telfer School of Management. You will evaluate student presentations, provide written feedback, mark written assignments, and teach Microsoft PowerPoint skills. The work includes office hours, Teaching Assistant meetings, and final exam presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct seminars for Business Communication Skills students
- Evaluate presentations and provide written feedback within one week
- Mark all written assignments
- Teach effective Microsoft PowerPoint use
- Attend meetings, office hours, and final presentations
Requirements:
- Minimum C.G.P.A. of 8.0
- Minimum A- in ADM2381 and ENG1131 or equivalents
- Knowledge of effective business presentation formats
- Professional seminar delivery and strong English communication skills
- Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
