Senior Mechanical Engineer for Pumping Systems
Associated Engineering (External)
Become a Senior Mechanical Pumping Engineer with Associated Engineering in Vancouver or Victoria. Drive innovation in designing pump stations and enhancing project efficiency across sectors. In this crucial role, you will lead the technical design of hydraulic systems while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. You will engage with First Nations Infrastructure and pursue business development opportunities as part of your work. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review initialization reports and costs
- Conduct hydraulic analysis and select design equipment
- Lead project teams through the design phase
- Develop layouts, drawings, and P&IDs
- Execute field reviews to oversee project delivery
- Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited school
- Professional Engineer status with EGBC preferred
- 10+ years in municipal consulting
- Familiarity with design software including AutoCAD
- Commitment to energy-efficient design practices
