Senior Manager, Life Insurance Actuarial

Lead impactful life insurance projects as a Senior Manager at Oliver Wyman. This role demands expertise in financial reporting and capital management while enhancing client actuarial processes. As a Senior Manager within Oliver Wyman's Actuarial Consulting Practice, you will directly engage with partners and senior executives. Your focus will be to lead complex engagements while improving operational efficiencies. This position is ideal for experienced actuaries ready to build trusted relationships and navigate intricate business challenges across North America. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage life insurance client engagements across Canada and the U.S.
- Drive project success by overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Serve as main point of contact for client communication
- Ensure technical accuracy in reports and mentoring for junior staff
- Present executive-level findings to internal and external stakeholders
- FCIA and FSA credentials or equivalent
- 8+ years in life insurance actuarial experience
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks and financial projections
- Proven ability to lead complex projects independently
- Strong coaching and mentorship skills for junior actuaries
