Life Health Pricing Actuary in Toronto

Elevate your actuarial career with Gen Re as a Life Health Pricing Actuary in Toronto's Financial District. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with client interaction for individual and group reinsurance solutions. As a critical member of the Pricing and Research team, you will report to the Regional Chief Actuary (Canada). Your responsibilities will include overseeing actuarial functions, producing quotations, and collaborating on pricing initiatives. You will also engage with global teams to enhance client offerings and maintain productive relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pricing modeling and quotation preparation
- Collaborate with global offices on bespoke client initiatives
- Conduct research on pricing methodologies for new business
- Analyze data for effective quotation monitoring
- Lead strategic projects utilizing advanced actuarial tools
- Strong technical actuarial expertise in Life/Health
- Familiarity with analytics, machine learning, and GLMs
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Experience in collaborative environments
- Knowledge of life and health regulatory frameworks
