Activities Desk Representative - Winter 2026/27

Compensation Information: $19.35 per hour

Physical Requirement: Light; work activities involve handling loads up to 10 kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding.

Skills you bring with you:

• Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Highly developed guest service skills, with the ability to assess guest needs and upsell resort products and services.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Respectful, reliable, and punctual team player.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and working effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with the local resort and surrounding area, or a willingness to actively learn and share that knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate the Activities Desk located in the Village Day Lodge, including Ticket Windows and Guest Services when required.
• Act as the main point of contact for guests by providing accurate resort information and assisting with the sale of activities, Alpine/Nordic lift tickets, and snowshoe rentals.
• Deliver outstanding guest experiences across all communication channels by providing efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable service.
• Perform daily administrative tasks for Resort Activities, including creating bookings, reviewing online orders, updating rosters, fulfilling orders, monitoring outstanding balances, and coordinating with internal departments and third-party activity providers.
• Coordinate activity bookings, including preparing guest lists and seating plans, distributing tickets, managing guest check-ins, and ensuring required waivers are completed.
• Manage Lost & Found items by following proper procedures for logging, storing, and tracking, and actively assist in reuniting lost items with guests.
• Accurately use the RTP POS system and FareHarbor booking software, including booking activities, processing transactions, managing cash, and balancing floats and sales to system reports.
• Monitor the Activities Desk Online Chatbot, provide accurate information, and assist guests directly when needed.
• Maintain organized and efficient work processes while managing multiple guest requests and activity-related tasks.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with other departments as required to support daily operations.
• Provide support to other areas within Guest Services as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Activities Desk, Ticket Windows, individual workstations, and communal spaces.
