M&A Analyst at Ethos Specialty Insurance

Elevate your career as an M&A Analyst with Ethos Specialty Insurance in Toronto, ON. This role focuses on supporting senior underwriters and developing solutions for transactional liabilities in mergers and acquisitions. As an M&A Analyst, you will play a key role in the underwriting team. Your tasks will include data analysis, coordination with legal counsel, and drafting essential documents. You will also assist in evaluating Purchase Sale Agreements and conducting due diligence to ensure effective risk management throughout the underwriting process. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with legal counsel and M&A brokers
- Analyze data related to submissions and policies
- Draft invoices and indication letters for underwriters
- Review and summarize underwriting submissions
- Conduct preliminary reviews of agreements and reports
- 1-2 years’ experience in insurance or banking
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
