Production Associate - Belleville (Ontario)

Protrans Personnel Services Inc is hiring for Full Time Production Assistant position in Belleville area (Ontario).
The Production Assistant provides assistance and support in the Converting and Printing Departments as directed by the Plant Supervisor.

Pay Rate: $18/hr (On SIN- Paid weekly on Friday)

• Assists senior Converting and Press personnel as directed.
• Monitors quality as required
• Prepares packaging materials; stages various production consumables
• Conducts and documents inspections and testing according to quality plans
• racks production quantities and scrap; weighs all outputs
• Discards scrap; operates baler
• Enters production data in computer and completes paperwork as required
• Ensures product is wrapped and labeled correctly
• Supports Pre-press activities with supervised assistance in Pre-press area as needed.
• Supports Converting and Printing department with supervised back-up duties as required.
• Assists in wash-up area as required.
• Transfers relevant information to the next shift, as required
• Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned, assists with PM activities
• Performs general housekeeping duties, as required

• Basic Computer literacy skills
• Must be a demonstrated team player with good interpersonal skills
• Must have a demonstrated strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy; detail- oriented
• Must have ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and efficiently
• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have good documentation skills.
• Must have ability and willingness to work scheduled rotating shifts.
• Must have ability to lift items of 40 lbs. and perform duties involving repetitive stretching motions, stair and ladder climbing, and standing.

• Complete testing per WIN_0096 – General Hiring Practice Guidelines.
• Secondary school (High School) diploma, or equivalent.
