These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Official course description: Introduction to the fundamental dimensions of research. Presentation of several epistemological approaches and the questions they raise. Introduction to qualitative and quantitative methods including some practical applications.

Course schedule:

• Monday: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday: 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• teaching assistance
• discussion groups
• marking of papers and exams
• office hours to meet with students

The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested to do so.

Requirements:

Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.

Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
