Remote Senior Privacy Counsel at Prospeo

Join Prospeo as a Senior Privacy Counsel, operating remotely within Canada. This role focuses on managing privacy operations and commercial contracts while promoting compliance across various regulations. Prospeo, a leading B2B SaaS sales platform, seeks a dedicated legal expert to handle day-to-day privacy management and oversee commercial agreements. With over four years of experience in privacy law, you will work autonomously to support the company's growth, ensuring regulatory compliance. This hands-on role reports directly to the co-founders. Key Responsibilities:
- Run the day-to-day privacy program across various laws
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts
- Manage incoming correspondence from regulators and complaints
- Own vendor diligence and DPA negotiations
- Advise founders on legal risks in business decisions
- JD or equivalent, bar admission in Canada
- CIPP/E certification required
- 4+ years in commercial and privacy law
- Hands-on GDPR/CCPA experience
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
