Nanny Wanted - Nanny Needed - Caring Family In King & Dufferin Area (Aug/Sept 2025 Start)

Hello! We’re a warm and caring family looking for a responsible, energetic, and experienced nanny to join our household and help care for our 1-year-old son. We are looking for someone 3-4 days / week, approximately 30-40 hours per week, starting in late Aug / September 2025. We are located near King and Dufferin in Toronto. Compensation: ~$25/hour, based on experience Position Details: 3- 4 Day / Week Schedule (30-40 hours) 3 days/week: Childcare

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday — 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Primary focus on care for our 1-year-old son

- Responsibilities include:

• Engaging in age-appropriate, educational, and creative activities
• Taking child to EarlyON programs, parks, or other local outings
• Preparing meals and snacks for the child
• Light housekeeping (e.g. loading/unloading dishwasher, tidying play areas)

Optional 1 day/5-8 hours a week for Housekeeping & Meal Prep. Hours and duties can be negotiated - could all be done on Mondays or extra hours spread across the week. - Responsibilities include:

• Meal prep family weekday meals
• General cleaning and organization
• Laundry

Occasional Extra Hours - Flexibility for occasional Thursday, weekend or evening hours (e.g., during work trips or date nights) is appreciated. What We’re Looking For We’d love to find someone who is:

• Warm, caring, patient, and playful
• Interested in building a long-term relationship with our family
• Reliable and confident caring for toddlers
• Familiar with Montessori philosophies

Qualifications

• Experience as a nanny to babies/toddlers required, ideally long-term placements
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• Background check required
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Non-smoker
• Strong references
