Customer Service Team Member

Job Responsibility:

Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team in the food industry. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

-They are responsible for preparing ingredients, such as slicing bagels and cheeses, chopping vegetables, and assembling ingredients for sandwiches and salads.

-They cook or heat ingredients as necessary, such as cooking eggs or bacon for breakfast sandwiches or heating soups. They assemble sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes or customer preferences.

-Ensuring that all food items meet quality standards, including freshness, proper portioning, and presentation.

-Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food, storage procedures, and cleanliness of work areas.

-Working closely with other kitchen staff, servers, and cashier to ensure efficient operations and timely service to customers.

-Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout shifts.

-Monitoring and restocking ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts, and reporting shortages to management.

-Occasionally interacting with customers to take special orders or accommodate specific requests related to food preparation.

Experience:- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently- Understanding of food safety practices and ability to maintain a sanitary work environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
