Job Summary:

The host/hostess is the first face our guest see as they arrive, and the last on they see when leaving; you will provide guests with an authentic social experience. Manage wait lists and communicate with guests with any changes. Assist service staff with busting and setting tables, communicate with all staff on reservations. Assist staff with other duties as required

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Past host experience an asset, but not essential
• Proven ability to manage and maintain the highest level of service excellence
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Organized and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, objectivity, confidentiality, and good judgement when handling issues
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects, strong attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other web-based applications
• Available to work weekends/nights

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 30 per week

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
• Restaurant experience: 1 year (preferred)
