Heavy Duty Truck Salesperson

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and cultivate assigned territories and accounts to meet or exceed unit sales, market penetration, and profit margin objectives for heavy‑duty trucks.
• Conduct the sale, purchase, and trade of trucks.
• Prospect and grow new accounts while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction across all assigned accounts.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services sold by the company.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree in Business is preferred.
• Combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
• Minimum three to five years of truck sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret truck specification lists and technical bulletins.
• Demonstrate extensive product knowledge to assist customers and staff in purchase decisions.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, results driven.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing official correspondence.
• Effective computer, mathematical, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, sales, credit, insurance, and legal information, including state and federal regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation & Location

Oshawa Branch – $35,000+ base salary plus significant commission potential.
