Wine Industry Controller Napa

Lead financial reporting and wine production costing as Controller for Navigator Wine Collection in South Napa, with hybrid work after training. Build accurate analysis using Business Central and Excel.Reporting to the CEO, this hands-on Controller role oversees monthly close, financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. You will analyze margins, inventory, customer profitability, and performance while partnering across production, purchasing, sales, and operations. Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is essential.Key Responsibilities:
Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activitiesPrepare financial statements and explain variances and trendsLead budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projectionsMaintain wine inventory and production costing accuracyDevelop reports and analyses using Business Central and ExcelRequirements:
At least five years of progressive accounting experienceWine industry experience with inventory and production costingStrong hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experienceAdvanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookupsKnowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and internal controlsBring accounting leadership, wine costing expertise, Business Central knowledge, and analytical skill to Navigator’s South Napa team.
