Nanny Wanted - We’re Looking For Our Family Nanny - Infant + 4 Year Old

Loving Runnymede–Bloor West Village family seeking experienced nanny We’re expecting our second baby in November 2025 and are looking for a caring, dependable live-out nanny to join our family. We’d love to find someone well before the baby arrives so we can look forward to this new rhythm together. About Us We’re a family of three (soon to be four!). Dad works downtown, our 4-year-old started JK down the street in September 2025, and Mom works from home. We’re hoping to find someone who can care for our new baby with warmth and attentiveness — and who’s happy to help with housekeeping and meal prep. The Role & Timeline Before baby arrives (late Oct/early Nov 2025): About 3 hours/week of light household support — tidying, laundry, organizing baby gear, light meal prep, get familiar with our house and family. Postpartum & maternity leave (Nov 2025–Mar 2026): About 5 hours/week of household and family support. Dad will be home for the first 4 weeks, then Mom will be home on leave. Part-time transition (Apr 2026): 20 hours/week (~4 hours/day, Mon–Fri) once baby is ~5 months old, to help Mom ease back into work. Full-time (May/June 2026 onward): 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm) once baby is ~6–7 months old. Duration: Until baby enters Montessori (~18 months). Trial: 3 hours paid trial in October 2025 to ensure a good fit before baby’s arrival. Responsibilities Daily care for infant (play, naps, feeding, soothing, routines) once baby is born School drop-off or pick-up for our 4-year-old (3-minute walk) Light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and occasional grocery run Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Requirements Previous nanny experience (must include infant care) ECE (Early Childhood Education) training Valid CPR/First Aid certification Driver’s licence Past references & background check Reliable, trustworthy, and caring personality Compensation $25-$30/hour If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to connect.
